This is about the only useful thing I actually finished when working on the MyteMost project. I built this because I didn't like any of the other options I could find. The open ones didn't do what I wanted them too, and the ones that came close required licensing to use for commercial applications. Rather then paying $X per website, I figured I would be better off to make my own. For now, I have no documentation on the usage of MyteControls, but if you can figure it out, feel free to use it. I made extensive use of this library in MyteTerm, so it would be a good place to look for examples on how it is used. Look in "myteterm.pl" and "follow.pl" for the easiest to follow scripts with examples. I offer this library free, under the GPL. Eventually, extreme boredom permitting, I will write some documentation on how to use this. This library has been used on Firefox 1.5 and better, and IE5 & 6. It has never been tested in IE7. If you are using IE7, and are interested in the library, please give it a try and let me know how it works, or doesn't. Since I don't use MS Windows at home, and can't change the one I use at work, I am unable to test with IE7 at this time myself. |
